Relevant Experience:

• CGHC Board of Directors since June 2021.
• 34-year career in a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving 22 years in the role of President/CEO.
• 20 years as a board member for an organization where she was involved in strategic planning, business development, brand strategy and new product implementation and delivery.
• Prior positions included: Senior Vice-President of Operations, Vice-President of Commercial Lending, and Marketing Director.
• Professional responsibilities included:
  • Preparation of annual budgets and financial reports.
  • Establishing policies and operational procedures to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Management of the investment portfolio and presentation of board documents.

Candidate Statement: When I retired prior to being eligible for Medicare, CGHC became my preferred solution for health insurance. I saw it as a critical component of my retirement and financial plan. I have a strong and long-term leadership background  working in a cooperative organization. I believe this has provided me the experience and ability to assist CGHC in making strategic decisions in the best interest of our membership. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals, families, and small businesses, learning to listen to their needs and build products and services to improve their financial well-being. I feel my experiences and focus on serving members will continue to benefit CGHC and its members in the future.
