David Stram is an experienced CFO with almost forty years of financial leadership experience across a variety of industries, including insurance. Prior to his recent retirement, David served as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of Perlick Corporation, a leading Milwaukee manufacturer of premier bar and beverage equipment. Before Perlick, David served in roles of increasing financial responsibility throughout his career at Ernst &Young, Future Financial Insurance, The Milwaukee Wave, Bostik Corporation, and Actuant Corporation.

While planning for healthcare in retirement, my research led me to Common Ground, whose mission and core values align fully with mine. I was pleased to learn that we have a local non-profit provider that puts the health of its members and access to high quality affordable care ahead of profits. I view the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for CGHC as a way for me to use my broad financial experience and expertise to support CGHC and its members to fulfill its mission and to become the provider of choice for health insurance in Wisconsin.”

David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and holds active CPA and FLMI Insurance certifications.
