Tonni Larson has been a member of Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative since January of 2021. Retiring early, prior to Medicare age, Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative became the preferred solution for healthcare insurance which she saw as a critical component of her retirement and financial plan.
Tonni, until her retirement in June of 2020, worked in a financial cooperative her entire career of 34 years. As a senior executive in the Credit Union industry, she held the role of President / CEO for twenty-two years at Kim Central Credit Union and Central Alliance Credit Union in the Fox Cities. Prior positions included Senior Vice-President of Operations, Vice-President of Commercial Lending and Marketing Director. Her responsibilities included preparation of annual budgets, establishing policies and operational procedures to meet regulatory compliance, preparation financial reports, management of the investment portfolio and presentation of board documents. In addition, Tonni served twenty years as a Board Member for the organization where she was involved in strategic planning, business development, brand strategy and new product implementation and delivery. She understands the cooperative business model and its mission.
Tonni believes, her strong and long-term leadership background, working in a cooperative organization gives her the experience and ability to assist Common Ground Health Care Cooperative, in making strategic decisions in the best interest of the members. Working with individuals, families, and small businesses for the past thirty-four years, she has learned to listen to the needs of members to build products and services that will improve their financial well-being. She feels this experience of serving members efficiently and effectively, will benefit Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative and its members in the future.
