Candidate Statement: “First and foremost, I believe in and value the mission of CGHC. As a nonprofit provider of health insurance, CGHC puts the health of their members over profit. They also make access to high quality and affordable health care part of their mission. As a self-employed single parent, I was responsible for securing health insurance for myself and my family. My children experienced both healthcare emergencies and chronic health conditions.

I have served on the CGHC Board of Directors since 2015. I take great pride in being part of the CGHC board as it seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of its members. After serving as Vice Chair for several years, I currently provide leadership for the Board as Chair. I hope to continue serving on the Board and supporting the values-based and mission-driven operations of CGHC.”
