Brian Damiani brings extensive IT and Health Insurance experience to CGHC. With 30+ years in IT including 20+ in Health Insurance Brian has been heavily involved with dozens of health plans, either as the leader of core systems product development (QCSI and TriZetto) to filling Interim CIO roles for plans nationwide as part of Wendigo Advisors.

Brian has spent his career working to bridge the gap between IT and Operations at health plans by diving deep into the business operations side of plans and developing a cross-functional capability that helps the business and IT teams communicate effectively. Most recently Brian was the owner and founder of Wendigo Advisors which provides health insurance specific consulting services including interim/fractional executive roles, implementations and upgrades, and operational effectiveness projects.

Brian is a member-focused executive who has been instrumental in helping distressed plans improve operations and lift correctional action plans put in place by regulators. In his time Brian and his teams have helped numerous plans navigate the complexities of IT to improve auto-adjudication rates, reduce and eliminate late payment penalties and interest, and improve vendor relations to establish true partnerships with critical software and service providers.

Brian holds a BSBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University. He enjoys traveling, primarily for scuba diving, golf, and music festivals, and spending time with his wife of 28 years and his three children.
